About the Play

Sunita Saxena is a blind woman who lives her life in the dark, but she is about to find out just how much darker it can get. Her husband has unknowingly acquired a doll full of heroin, and three con-men want it. The men attempt to trick her into giving up the doll. As she becomes aware of the grave danger she is in, she starts building a plan to handle the intruders.

ANDHERA HONE TAK has been adapted from Frederick Knott’s classic Wait Until Dark, a celebrated play that has been staged worldwide. In 1967, Wait Until Dark was made into a Hollywood thriller, earning Audrey Hepburn an Oscar nomination.
