What happens when life throws you a googly that beats you all ends up? Your son is a nincompoop. Your marital life is `insipid'. Your daughter-in-law is a scheming little witch. Dattani skillfully weaves his rib-tickling narrative around the machinations of a dysfunctional Indian family in this play that he calls the `exorcism of the patriarchal code.'
